Welcome to Connected, a relationship-forward social and dating service operated by Colours Global (“Connected”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Connected. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement to use Connected. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide truthful information, to use your real identity, and not to impersonate anyone. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You will not, among other things:
- harass, threaten, defraud, or harm other people;
- post nudity, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable content;
- create fake profiles, spam, solicit money, or promote commercial schemes;
- use Connected if you are a registered sex offender or are otherwise prohibited by law;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service.
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or our Guidelines.
4. Introductions — important safety notice
Connected helps people meet through trusted introductions and shared experiences, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Always meet in public, tell a friend, and use your judgment. You interact with other users at your own risk.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Connected offers optional paid plans and event tickets.
- On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- In our mobile apps, any digital subscription is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and is governed by their billing and refund terms.
- Event tickets are for real-world events; refunds follow the event organizer’s policy.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and content you submit. You grant Connected a limited license to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you share.
7. Termination
You may stop using Connected and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the community.
8. Disclaimers
Connected is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that other users are who they claim to be, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connected and Colours Global will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any user, arising out of your use of the service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Colours Global is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: support@coloursglobal.com.
